안녕하세요, 올림피아 하나장로교회 성도 및 지역 주민 여러분.
자녀들에게 아름다운 한국어와 소중한 문화적 뿌리를 심어줄 '올림피아 하나 한글학교'가 오는 9월 19일 토요일에 개강합니다. 하나님의 사랑 안에서 자녀들이 건강한 한인 정체성을 키워갈 수 있도록 학부모님들의 많은 관심과 신청을 바랍니다.

 

1. 설립 목적 (Our Mission)

  • 하나님의 사랑을 바탕으로 한 인성 교육: 기독교적 가치관 안에서 서로를 존중하는 따뜻한 성품을 기릅니다.

  • 올바른 한국어 및 역사·문화 교육: 한국어 소통 능력을 확장하고 전통문화를 체험하여 자랑스러운 문화적 자부심을 심어줍니다.

  • 건강한 이중언어 차세대 육성: 미국 사회 속에서 한인으로서의 정체성을 확립하고, 글로벌 역량을 갖춘 리더로 자라도록 돕습니다.

 

2. 모집 요강

  • 개강일: 2026년 9월 19일 (토요일)

  • 수업 시간: 매주 토요일 [오전 9:30 ~ 오후 12:30]

  • 모집 대상: 3세 유아, 초등학생, 중고등학생 (수준별 분반 운영)

  • 교육 내용: 한국어(말하기·듣기·읽기·쓰기), 한국 역사 및 문화 특별활동

  • 수업 장소: 올림피아 하나장로교회 교육관

Greetings in the name of our Lord, HANA Presbyterian Church of Olympia family and the community. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the HANA Korean School on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Our mission is to nurture the next generation with a strong cultural identity and language proficiency rooted in God's love. We warmly invite parents to register their children for this rewarding journey.

 

1. Our Mission & Purpose

  • Faith-Based Character Education: We cultivate warm, Christ-centered values and character, encouraging students to respect and love one another.

  • Authentic Language & Cultural Literacy: We provide systematic Korean language lessons (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) along with rich historical and cultural experiences to instill a sense of cultural pride.

  • Empowering Next-Generation Leaders: We help children establish a healthy dual identity as Korean Americans, equipping them to grow into global leaders in American society.

 

2. Program Details

  • First Day of Class: Saturday, September 19, 2026

  • Class Schedule: Every Saturday, [9:30 AM – 12:30 PM]

  • Student Eligibility: Ages [3 and up / Pre-K to High School] (Classes divided by proficiency level)

  • Curriculum: Korean Language, Korean History, and Cultural Enrichment Activities (Traditional games, arts & crafts, Korean food experience)

  • Location: HANA Presbyterian Church of Olympia, Education Building
